How to sign up for
free after-school tutoring!

Fill in ALC as your “1” Choice on the selection/enrollment form.

Follow these three easy steps to sign your child up for free after school tutoring from ALC.

Step 1. Find out if your child qualifies for free tutoring.

Your child will qualify if they are eligible for free/reduced lunch and if they attend a school identified as a School In Need of Improvement for three years. (Is my child eligible?)

Step 2. Complete the "Free Tutoring" application.

Complete the application that gives you the option to choose free tutoring. You should receive this application mid-summer. (View a pdf of a sample SES application form in English. View a pdf of a sample SES application form in Spanish.) If you do not receive the application, call you child’s school or the district office and request the application.

Fill in ALC as your “1” Choice on the selection/enrollment form.

Step 3. Return the Form On Time

You must return the form before the deadline. You can submit it at your child’s school or the District School Board office. Don't take any chances on missing the deadline. Make sure you get the form and turn it in early. There are a limited number of slots available so don't miss out.
